The SU rack is Inno's rack for cars with bare roofs. The metal feet are really well finished, and the fit is great. The crossbars are really solid and have a thick, rugged, tight-fitting plastic sleeve. It is a solid, stable rack. The fit hooks have a thick dipped rubber coating. The locking mechanism is very secure. It includes a torque wrench with an easy to use grip and a postive click so you know when the rack is tightened down correctly.

There is a very wide range of hardware to accomodate many different roof scenarios. The 'square' crossbars are thick steel with a thick (mechanically) forced fit plastic sleeve. Locks are not included, so if you need lock it will add to the cost. The Thule one key system allows for having the same key for the racks and accessories. The Rhino rack 2500 Series "Original" is a rack system for cars with a bare roof. The great looking rack feet are made off glass reinforced nylon with metal hardware. The aerodynamic aluminum rack crossbars are as rugged as they are nice. The fit hooks are often 2-piece; they have a glued-on thick protective rubber pad. As with all aerodynamic bars, adapter may be needed for some (older) accessories. Ease of install and lock security are industry standard. RhinoRack now offers replacement locks and keys so that you can have 1 key for most of your RhinoRack gear.
