This happened to me too. I even did a system restore and it happened again.
I fixed it by doing the advanced repair choice->choosing Startup settings-> and disabling the Driver check selection.
(deplorable can't remember the exact names)
After that it boots upwards fine. Hope this helps fix the problem.

I too have been 'striking' with the automatic repair issue but I tin can click accelerate options and continue to Windows and it goes away until the estimator is rebooted or turned off/on. What'south up with this issue? Local figurer company did the Windows ten install (our computers previously had 7) and this started up before long after. We have other computers that were done before and haven't had this issue.

I ain an older HP Pavilion, model HP7-1154. I don't have a CD from the company. I do have a organization repair DVD and 3 recovery discs, created be me at the time of buy. My problem is dissimilar. I accept no access to any of the options usually available to get started. All I accept is a notice on the lockscreen maxim: Preparing Automatic Repair. Today , that is after three days of waiting, I shut down to come across if I can restart the reckoner, I see the same notice of the get-go moment to the effect that my calculator ran into an error and that Microsoft is working for a solution and that they will restart the computer. One minute later the estimator turns to the lock screen with the notice : preparing for automatic repair. There was no way to jumpstart. Should I keep waiting , and if I did what is the promise? Q

Same upshot continuing, now on the tertiary day, equally with you Naim. I've tried everything I can recollect of, except getting to the command prompt to try and open up Windows in safe mode. Unfortunately, that requires that the boot process gets to the options screen, which is not e'er happening. If you become to the screen that says there's a problem, and it gives you the selection for advanced options, click on that. There should be an option for control prompt.
